4. Image Processing and Storage

When you upload images to Fejja:

• Images are processed using fal.ai, our secure AI processing provider
• Original images are temporarily transmitted to and stored on fal.ai servers for processing
• Processed images are available for download for a limited time
• We do not use your images for training AI models without consent
• Original and processed images are automatically deleted after 30 days

5. Face Data Processing

Some of our filters process facial features to provide enhanced results. Here's how we handle face data:

What Face Data We Process:

• Facial boundaries and positioning information to ensure proper filter application
• Facial characteristics necessary for beauty enhancements (smoothing, lighting adjustments)
• Facial features required for artistic transformations (cartoon, anime, sketch styles)

How We Use Face Data:

• To detect faces in uploaded images and ensure filter compatibility
• To apply cosmetic enhancements and artistic transformations as requested by you
• To ensure proper positioning and quality of filter results
• Face data is NEVER used for facial recognition, identity verification, or user tracking
• We do not use face data to train AI models

Third-Party Sharing and Storage:

• Images containing faces are temporarily transmitted to fal.ai for AI-powered filter processing
• Images are stored on fal.ai's secure servers during and after processing
• We do not share face data with any other third parties

Data Retention:

• Original uploaded images: Deleted after 30 days
• Processed images: Deleted after 30 days
• Face detection metadata (coordinates, confidence scores): Deleted immediately after processing
• Images on fal.ai servers: Automatically deleted according to their retention policy

User Control and Deletion:

Uploaded and generated content is saved for a maximum of 30 days. In the gallery view, you can at any time delete images with the delete button. Images are automatically deleted after 30 days and will not show up in the gallery anymore.

You can also request immediate deletion of your processed images at any time by contacting support@fejja.com.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who help us operate the app (specifically fal.ai for image processing)
• When required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights and prevent fraud
